Typhoon Odette Experience Blog

Hello Guys good day I am Remwel Villarino and this is my experience during and after typhoon Odette blog. 

 

On December 16th, 2021, Typhoon Odette made landfall in Cebu, City. The staff and residents evacuated for safety and emergency purposes as the wind rose and the typhoon became stronger. The residents felt scared and nervous, as it was the strongest typhoon they have experienced so far. Nonetheless, everyone was calmly praying and reminding one another of the presence and goodness of God despite the calamity. By 11:00 PM, the typhoon had already slightly weakened.

In Talisay City Park where talisaynon can recharge their gadgets for free provided by the LGU's because there is no electricity.

Typhoon Odette left a lot of places devastated with broken homes, downed trees, and loss of electricity, signal, and water supply for days.

Baybay Beach is located in the southwestern edge of Cebu, Dumanjug. It lies right along the coast with direct access to the sea.

Instead of the creamy white fine sand, the coast is a characteristic mix of corals, rocks, and pebbles. It definitely has its of charm of being untamed and rugged.

These cottages are not only cozy, but also kept clean as the management makes sure to disinfect each of them every single day. That way, you can stay worry-free and just enjoy the sea.

BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Baybay Dumanjug” in Dumanjug, Cebu. Parking space is available.
